What is G-Land JAVA?

G-Land is a remote surf paradise tucked away on the eastern tip of Java, Indonesia; just across the water from Bali. Surrounded by jungle and only accessible by boat or car, it’s one of the most unique and untouched surf destinations in the world.

G-Land is famous in the surf world for its powerful, barrelling reef breaks. But don’t worry, that’s really not what we’re after!!

What makes this retreat so special is our deep local knowledge of the area. We know the hidden, mellow surf spots scattered around G-Land, perfect for longboarding, progression, and soulful rides.

You’ll be gliding on glassy walls, enjoying longboarding rides, and discovering a side of G-Land that only a few have access to. It’s a rare and magical surf experience.

After living and surfing in Bali for 10 years, I’ve seen firsthand how surfing is more than just a sport, it’s a mindset, a way of life. It’s been a journey of growth for me, resilience, and self-discovery.

My healing journey has led me to understand with sharp intuition the surf language of our bodies on a wave. I practice this surf confidence method during our surf analysis, to guide you uncover what your body is telling you, what fears is still blocking your progress. Surfing is a mirror to who we truly are, when we name our fears, we release them, we open ourselves to new opportunities, and that where real surfing begins!

Meet your host

Hey, I’m Anaïs (aka @facingblankpages). I’ve spent the last 10 years living in Bali.
Surfing saved my life. It taught me to be playful, to flow while feeling strong, to tune in the rhythm of Nature and embrace the spirit of Freedom. I created this retreat to show you the way back to yourself, to crack open the door of your heart while surfing the best waves of Indonesia.

My expertise in reading the body in motion and ability to sense the emotional story behind the movement guides you to uncover the fears and blocks stuck in your body. Bringing awareness to it helps you unlock confidence, trust, and progress in both surf & life.
